LPGA golfer Suzann Pettersen told a Norwegian newspaper that President Donald Trump “cheats like hell” at golf:

Recreational golfers don't have to be fanatical about playing by the rules so long as they aren't claiming they are playing by the rules — a friendly game of golf without worrying about the score is different than lying about the score a player makes, and ultimately, no one likes a cheater.

This is hardly the first time someone has accused POTUS of cheating on the links. Here are a few of the names that have pointed a finger at him:

1. Oscar De La Hoya

He said this to the Associated Press in 2016:

“Donald, what he does is he tees off first so we go off to our balls and what do we see but Donald Trump right in the middle of the fairway,” De La Hoya said. “He said, ‘Hey look, I found my first ball.’”

On the next hole, a par-3, De La Hoya said Trump hit into some bushes and again went ahead of the other players in his cart. When the rest of the group got to the green, he said Trump’s ball was 3 feet from the hole.

“And by the way I’m picking it up,” De La Hoya quoted Trump as saying. “It’s a gimme.”

2. Rick Reilly

The former Sports Illustrated and ESPN columnist told the Washington Post that “when it comes to cheating, he’s an 11 on a scale of one to 10.”:

“He took the world’s first gimme chip-in,” Reilly said. At one point, Trump, after taking a number of second shots, told Reilly to “make sure you write that I play my first ball. You don’t get a second ball in life.” In life, it may or may not be true that a person gets a second chance; and yet, as Reilly wrote, on holes 1, 13 and 17, Trump did indeed get a second ball.”

3. Samuel L. Jackson

Back in 2016, he was asked who the better golfer was: Himself or Trump. Here’s his reply: “Oh, I am, for sure. I don’t cheat.”

4. Sports Illustrated

A story from last year didn’t use the C-word, but there’s this nugget:

Trump will sometimes respond to a shot he duffed by simply playing a second ball and carrying on as if the first shot never happened. In the parlance of the game, Trump takes floating mulligans, usually more than one during a round. Because of them it is impossible to say what he has actually shot on any given day, according to 18 people who have teed it up with Trump over the last decade, including SI senior writer Michael Bamberger, who has done so nine times.

The rocker delivered this line in a 2012 interview (picked up by 12News and collected by the Washington Post): “The worst celebrity golf cheat? I wish I could tell you that. It would be a shocker. I played golf with Donald Trump one time. That’s all I’m going to say,”
